The Flea Theater presents Bee Sting Theater Company’s prodction of Bertolt Brecht’s Drums in the Night.

Drums in the Night is the story of a young man who returns from four years of fighting and imprisonment in World War I to find his fiancee engaged to another man and his city on the edge of revolution. It is the tale of a people pushed passed boundaries, their inability to fight back, and the very personal battle for happiness that seems beyond anyone’s reach. Drums in the Night brims with humor, anger, confusion, love, and venereal disease.
