The Musical, starring Emmy, Tony, and Grammy nominated N’Kenge, is being presented at the New York Theater Festival after a successful debut at Carnegie Hall in 2022. The show is a celebration of a fearless pioneer who dared to dream and is set to an original and dynamic score. Dorothy lit up the stage and screen in the 1950s and was the first African-American Woman to receive an Oscar Nomination for Best Actress for Carmen Jones.
