About This Show

Jean Genet’s Deathwatch explores the twisted hierarchy of crime underlying the relationships between three prison convicts. In their feverish competition to outdo one another, two inmates will stop at nothing, even murder, to win the admiration of the highest-ranking criminal in the cell. Directed by Artistic Director Andrew Bielski. Featuring Egress Artistic Associate Brendan McMahon.

Running in rotating repertory with The Maids. A single all-male cast of actors tackles these stark meditations on identity and illusion in a four-week, rotating repertory run at the CRS Studio Theatre in Union Square.
