The Village Light Opera Group presents the first revival of Rodgers and Hart’s Dearest Enemy as part of the Richard Rodgers Centennial Celebration. The story takes place during the American Revolution, focusing on Mrs. Murray as she detains General Howe’s Redcoats with wine and wooing so that Putnam’s American Patriot army can rejoin Washinton at Harlem Heights.
There is an additional performance on Wednesday, April 20 at 2:00pm.
