Das Barbecü

Das Barbecü is a comic retelling of Wagner’s Ring Cycle as a country-western musical. What can we say? There’s this ring with a dwarf, a couple of gods, some cowboys and rivermaidens, and a few Valkyries thrown in chasing it throughout Texas. Oh, and just a bit of romance on the side. I think it speaks for itself. If you know Wagner’s Ring Cycle, you’ll love this musical salute! And if you don’t know it, you WILL know it after you see this (and just think – no need to sit through the full 33 hours of the operas)!
