DancenOw/NYC – The Festival (DTW)

DancenOw/NYC – The Festival kicks off the NYC dance season, celebrating the endless and vibrant creativity of NYC area choreographers. From aspiring young artists to mid-career innovators to the poetic and powerful performers of the ‘4OUp’ generation, The Festival brings a fresh sampling of dance in all styles and forms, forging the possibilities and imagination of dance today.

The Festival, which features 85 plus dancemakers and their companies during its two-week run, opens at Dance Theater Workshop with six performance events (September 6 – 9), presenting the work of 65 choreographers in three different performance series — 4OUp, Base Camp and Upclose.
