Crossing Boundaries

Crossing Boundaries, curated by Marcia Monore, features Nina Winthrop, Jesse Phillips, Kyle Abraham and Moham Kulasingam.

Kyle Abraham is the recipient of an MFA in dance from Tisch and a BFA in dance from SUNY Purchase. His dance training began at the Civic Light Opera Academy and the Creative Performing Arts High School in Pittsburgh. As a choreographer he is a recipient of a Thayer Fellowship in the Arts 2000 and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship 2002.

Jesse Phillips Fein is a graduate of BAX, and holds a B.A. in Dance and Cultural Anthropology from Smith College, and a Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre in London. Her work has been presented at the Brooklyn Museum, BRICstudio, Shashama, Clemente Solo, DTW, The Connely Theater, Dance New Amsterdam and HERE.
