About This Show

Nineteenth-century compositions and nineteenth-century sorcery meet in a show which features the recreation of the Spirit Cabinet illusion, first developed in 1848. Imagine razor blades are swallowed to the steady, solemn beat of Beethoven and a small ball of paper transforms into swimming goldfish to the cascading notes of the Tempest Sonata. This show unites two art forms in a symphony of sorcery and sound.
