About This Show

Margaret thought she had fallen in love. Dan did too. So did Peter and Peg and Bradley and Lois and Candace and Frank and Anne and Dr. Strongman. But when Margaret gets dumped by her boyfriend, her search for happiness sets off a chain of events that leaves everyone asking themselves, “I’ve fallen in what?”

Cause for Alarm, by Jenny Schwartz, tackles some of life’s larger questions like: Where does one find true happiness? And what is the nature of love? As well as smaller ones like: How many calories are in a Krispie Kreme doughnut? And, does Bed, Bath and Beyond sell couches?

Ken Rus Schmoll directs the play as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.

This production is an Equity approved showcase.
