C4: The Chekhov Project

Each of the major works of Anton Chekhov gives an intense look into its characters’ interior lives and when explored together trends emerge; the plays are a turning point in the history of the theatrical landscape. Moving in chronological order from The Seagull to Uncle Vanya to The Three Sisters to The Cherry Orchard, C4: The Chekhov Project will explore Chekhov’s work by showcasing the individual theatrical sensibilities of four directors each tackling an act from these four great plays.
