The Flea Theater presents Burger Nation by MidGetDance
Could it be… fast food dancing?
Inspired and in awe of the book Fast Food Nation, by Eric Schlosser, MidGetDance choreographers take their reactions to the stage – exploring the physicality of burger to bun, flying fries and other happy “Happy Meal” moments. We’ve all felt it, smelt it, dealt it (and estimated more than 10% of workers has worked at a fast food restaurant) and MidGetDance must dance it…
Dancing cows, the carrot liberation front and Ronald McDonalds gone wild. The movement of knockers, burger pushers & soda slaves. This is Burger Nation! This production is being created under the collaborative artistic direction of MidGetDance (www.MidGetDance.org). The directors, Pascal Rekoert and Martha Williams, finding a magical synergy, have recently merged their talents and are embarking on their first major project together.
Appropriate for audiences 12 and older.
