Beyond Brecht

Beyond Brecht features the Brooklyn Playwrights Collective and the world premiere of 10 new one-acts with a humorous/political twist, all inspired by Bertolt Brecht. Interspersed between the one-acts will be songs, musical acts, and multi-media art.

Some of this year’s one-acts include: "Ms. Un-America Pageant," by Maria Micheles, "Fulana," by Felipe Ossa, "Sauté Your Face" & "Thank You for Applying," by Jerry Polner, "Notes Towards a Dialectic," by Les Hunter, "The Resistible Rise of Fatlinda Paloka," by Marcy Wallabout, "Ice Pole," by Chris Force, "Le Pithecanthrope," by Ed Malin, and "Pedagogy," by Will Cordeiro.
