The Specter Theatre Company, in association with M2M Communications, has come together to bring Don Nigro’s remarkable love story Beast With Two Backs to New York for the first time ever. A young artist comes to Greenwich Village in 1927 to become a painter. What he encounters is a madhouse full of bohemians, four of whom change his life; a writer who doesn’t write, a model who wants to act, a wife that keeps loneliness at bay by sleeping with the whole building, and a poet whose verse is just a pick-up line in the original days of “Free Sex.”
