Laurie Berg's work is influenced by her past as a rhythm tapper. Based in Brooklyn, she is a dancer and performer, collage artist, and jewelry designer. Along with collaborator Siri Peterson, Berg looks at the rhythmic relationship between the body and the brain as they relate to time, sound, and sight. A Different Brand Of Chaos examines patterns, randomness, nature, time, show-business, and the spaces that connect them all. Aynsley Vandenbroucke is the co-founder of Mount Tremper Arts and teaches dance history and somatics. She has been noted by Susan Reiter of the New York Press for her "meticulously distilled pieces in which she scrupulously avoids falling back on movement that is learned or familiar." Vandenbroucke presents Untitled, a solo meditation on her obsessions with the movement of language and the non-movement of dance.
