As You Like It (Vital Theatre Company)

Vital Theatre Company presents As You Like It, a new musical based on Shakespeare’s play, which follows up last year’s musical production of The Tempest. The show features a book by Doug DeVita, with music and lyrics by Paul Johnson. Jason Summers directs.

Join this merry band of players as they help retell the rale of Rosalind, a princess banished from her cruel uncle’s court. Disguised as a man, Rosalind escapes to the Forest of Arden, where, as fate would have it her beloved Orlando had chosen to make his new life away from his dastardly brother, Oliver. How will these two lovers reunite when Rosalind must conceal her identity? Fear not, for in the Forest, lovers will be united, enemies reconciled and the true values of family and friendship restored.
