Arturella & Speed of Sight

Arturella and Speed of Sight are two works from Arthur Aviles Typical Theatre presented as part of Dance Theater Workshop’s Carnival Series of rotating performing artists. The two works demonstrate the contrasting results of Bronx-based choreographer Aviles’ “initial response,” a choreographic process that is the direct and literal translation of any art form into the moving body.
