About This Show

Antichrist Lament is the story of Issa Mohammed, a contemporary African-American poet, who is inadvertently arrested for conspiring to commit terrorist acts due to his connections with the New Harlem World Order (a radical reparations organization). Antichrist Lament celebrates the life and poetry of Issa Mohammed, and explores the questionable circumstances surrounding his murder while detained. Martyred after his death, he is portrayed as a modern day prophet and Messiah for people of African descent.
