Instituto de Arte Teatral and Hostos Center for the Arts present a dramatic reading of Agria… Tierra… Dulce de Tere Martínez. In a small Galician town during the Spanish Civil War, the Rodríguez family dreams to go back to their native Puerto Rico. At the present, the new Rodríguez generation wants to understand a past they cannot escape. The play is located between Spain and Puerto Rico from the Spanish Civil War to the present. The play deals with intense aspects such as nostalgia, the fight for survival and also humor. It presents the disasters that any war brings.
