About the Show

Robert Ogden and San Remo Productions present the long-awaited return of A Touch of Vegas, a glitzy Vegas-styled lounge act featuring the fantastically earnest Trent and Trudy Lee. Straight from their gig at the San Remo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, performances of this open-ended run are at the newly renovated Dominion NY Lounge & Theatre.

From their first meeting at the open call of Starlight Express at the Las Vegas Hilton, Trent and Trudy Lee were destined to become showbiz legends. Trudy Lee is a perennially perky belter and former Barbizon model with big hair and an even bigger personality. Mustachioed Trent is the flamboyantly foppish man with whom Trudy shares a non-consummated monogamous Christian-based love. A Touch of Vegas is their life in song (accompanied on piano by Liberace protégé Mr. Raymond Bernie) and story. Blissfully ignorant of anything beyond the Christian show-biz norm, this winsome duo delights audiences with politically incorrect tales of their glory days in Vegas with the likes of Charo, Erik Estrada, Phyllis Diller, and Sinbad as they weave their way through unique renditions of songs including “Conga, ” “Man in the Mirror,” “9 to 5,” and “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off.” Fortunately for audiences, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas!

Trent, and Trudy Lee are the brainchildren of Kyle Barisich and Genna Ambatielos, respectively. The duo originally met as undergrads at The University of Southern California working on a production of Merrily We Roll Along. They have been fine-tuning A Touch of Vegas since 2000. In addition to an extended run in 2002 at Dominion, they have also been seen in Hollywood at the legendary Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
