About This Show

Written, adapted, and performed by Kevin Mitchell Martin, A Touch of the Poe covers the life and times of one of the literary world’s most intriguing, romantic, and haunting figures: Edgar Allan Poe. Bina Sharif directs this one-man show as part of the 5th annual New York International Fringe Festival.

From LIZ SMITH of the New York Post:

“And here’s some nostalgia: Kevin (Mitchell Martin) is the proud grand nephew of the late, great character actor, Thomas Mitchell. If that doesn’t ring a bell, Mitchell was Gerald O’Hara in Gone with the Wind and Uncle Billy in It’s a Wonderful Life, and starred in dozens of other movies.”
