John Churilla’s A Rabbi in the Attic is a comedic study of contemporary values in a Jewish family when the goy husband quits the family’s business to write a novel. Brad Malow directs.

Playwright John Churilla has written several plays that have been performed off-off-Broadway. A previous work, The Demon of Edwin Booth, was a finalist in a national playwriting contest and was performed as a staged reading under the auspices of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival with a performance by Tony Award-winner John Glover, and is currently slated to be produced at the Arizona Shakespeare Festival during its 2007 season.
