In Stephen Sondheim’s lush, witty musical lost loves, secret yearnings, scandalous affairs and the rekindling of long-buried passion are all part of an unforgettable weekend in the country. Inspired by the Ingmar Bergman film Smiles of a Summer Night and featuring the classic song “Send in the Clowns,” this Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 1973 deals with the universal subject of love – in all its wondrous, humorous and ironic permutations. A Little Night Music is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
