A Festival for the Little Guys: An Evening of Two One-Acts

About This Show

A Festival for the Little Guys: An Evening of Two One-Acts is imPULSE Theatre Company’s premiere production, featuring Easy Money, written and directed by Mitchell D. Malnati and The Transfiguration of Benno Blimpie written by Albert Innaurato and directed by Holly-Anne Ruggiero.

In Easy Money, Betty and Morgan discover that becoming phone sex operators is not as easy as it seems, as they face off against a phone sex trainer like no other, a few phone sex calls that hit a little too close to home, and an anal sex-obsessed ex-boyfriend.

The Transfiguration of Benno Blimpie is a dark, surreal journey into the mind of a 500 pound man, who is eating himself to death. The play examines the effects of self cruelties on a sensitively artistic soul trapped in a grossly obese body.
