1 X 4

1 X 4 is a program designed to develop one new play written by four different playwrights. Each playwright composes two scenes based on a given theme, providing the foundation for the play. These scenes are then arranged and worked on over a two-week rehearsal period and then presented as a staged reading. This year’s guest artists are Edward Allan Baker (Dead Man’s Apartment, North of Providence); Ross Berger (The Shoebox of Ebbets Field); Bill C. Davis (Mass Appeal, Dancing in the End-Zone); and Hunt Holman (Gun Club, Spanish Girl).
