The Drama Department continues its mission to produce long-forgotten plays by great American playwrights with THE TORCH-BEARERS, George Kelly’s backstage spoof on community theater. Faith Prince and Marian Seldes lead the eleven member cast directed by Dylan Baker. THE TORCH-BEARERS, first seen on Broadway in 1922, is the story of Mr. and Mrs. Ritter whose marriage is put to the test when Mr. Ritter returns home from an extended business trip to find his wife has been bitten by the acting bug and now has her sights set on a career of her own on the stage. -vn
