In The World My Mama Raised, written by Ariel Stess and directed by Kip Fagan, Violet has a new frenemy with benefits. Henry is being released from prison with only his church clothes and some bus fare. Violet’s dad is learning how to read. And…the school day is nearly over, but it’s only 10am.
