About This Show

The Last Supper, Honest-to-God dinner theater for 30 people a night, is performed in the playwright’s kitchen and dining room. Written,
directed, designed and ushered by Ed Schmidt, each performance culminates in a four-course dinner prepared as part of the show by Mr. Schmidt.

The Last Supper is a modern retelling of the Biblical last supper, set in the kitchen among the unholy women who prepare the meal for Christ and His disciples. The play is performed for an audience of thirty in the
playwright’s Chelsea, New York, kitchen and dining room, and each performance culminates in a four-course dinner prepared as part of the show by Mr. Schmidt.

The suggested offering (cash or check) for dinner and the show is $50 – $75 per person. Wine and beer is included.
