About This Show

“Sing goddess of Achilles’ rage.” So begins one of Western literature’s greatest epic poems. Homer’s masterpiece, The Iliad, charts the devastating wrath of the great Greek warrior Achilles and his famous refusal to “not lift a finger in this bloody war.”

CSC presents the Aquila Theatre Company as they continue their critically acclaimed retelling of this timeless tale. The New York Times wrote that Part I “draws an audience so deep inside the great poem that one seems to experience what Homer’s heroes did.”

The performance of The Illiad is a reading open exclusively to CSC members, and the event is sold out.
