The Found Footage Festival

About This Show

The Found Footage Festival, a featured a critic’s pick in Time Out New York, is coming to Comix. One part kitsch, another hilarious commentary, the Found Footage Festival is sure to be a good time. The Found Footage Festival is a one-of-a-kind event that compiles more than an hour’s worth of footage from videos found at garage sales, thrift stores, warehouses, and dumpsters throughout the country. Curators Pickett and Prueher host each screening in-person, and provide their unique observations about the obscure found videos.

From the curiously-produced industrial training video to the forsaken home movie donated to Goodwill, the Found Footage Festival resurrects forgotten treasures and serves them up in a lively celebration of all things found.
