Speedmouse: The Worst of the Umbilical Brothers
$12.50 - $35.00
Incomparable, outrageous and a little out of their minds, The Umbilical Brothers return to 42nd Street with the worst…er… the best of their best. Fed up with the fact that mime just wasn’t loud enough, 15 years ago Shane Dundas and David Collins decided to fuse physical comedy with ingenious sound effects to create a warped world of juvenile insanity. Dundas, armed with only a microphone, provides a soundtrack of astonishingly audacious vocal effects for Collins, a malleable modern day clown, as he combats invisible enraged houseflies, fluffy frustrated puppets and one hyperactive crazed cat. Australia’s devilish duo morph into super intelligent alien dinosaurs and even compete in the Olympic table tennis finals all under the watchful eye of their disgrunteld “roadie” and a stage manager with a wicked sense of humor. Having tickled the likes of David Letterman and Jay Leno, The Umbilical Brothers return with a carnival of outlandish fun that is “twisted, marvelously peculiar and absolutely hilarious” (Time Out New York).
