New York City
Lucy’s a child, and a child’s a person, and people can do the ugliest things. Charlotte’s an expert in ugly things. And the bloody, funny, terrible chase is on.
Radically imaginative and achingly plain, RECALL explores our need to feel connected, understood, and loved. No matter the damage, no matter the cost.
Colt Coeur is a New York-based theater company dedicated to making original, story-driven, aggressively visceral theater that pulls you close and doesn’t let go. With the company’s mission to make immersive, environmental, experiential, unabashedly entertaining theater that explores themes of coming-of-age, of individual and collective identity, of public versus private, of love, lust, and loss, RECALL is the ideal production for Colt Coeur’s third season.
Colt Coeur’s inaugural production, Seven Minutes in Heaven, was a New York Times and Time Out New York critic’s pick, playing to sold-out houses in New York and at The Huntington Theatre’s Emerging America Festival in Boston. The company’s sophomore production, Fish Eye by Lucas Kavner, was a Time Out New York Critic’s Pick and was featured in New York Magazine’s annual round-up of best shows of the year.
RECALL, written by Eliza Clark, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, and produced by Stephen Stout.
