A samaurai and his wife encounter a bandit in a bamboo forest. A killing ensues and different versions of the same story are given in court. Pan Asian Repertory Theater’s production of Rashomon is by Fay and Michael Kanin and directed by Tisa Chang. The play is based on the story by Ryunosuke Akutagawa and the 1950 film by famed director Akira Kurosawa.
