Oyster

The Inbal Pinto Dance Company presents the New York debut of Oyster. Abounding in colorful images and mysterious feelings, this evening length work is a seamless dream of motion vignettes, curiosities, and wordless character sketches. Charming, freakishly peculiar, and yet strangely familiar, the show is set to music that skips deftly from Pagliacci to Tango, Yma Sumac to Harry James’ big band sound with some throat singing thrown in for good measure.
