Built entirely out of the writings of its central characters, North explores Anne Morrow Lindbergh’s (wife to aviator Charles) fascination with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (author of The Little Prince), as well as her struggle to orient herself, to reconcile motherhood with work and love with duty, and to articulate the responsibility of the artist to a world sunk in war.
