About This Show

New Work Now! at the Public Theater is a festival of new play readings and musical events, this year featuring Nilo Cruz¹s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna in the Tropics. The event includes free play readings in the Anspacher Theater as well as free workshop performances in the Shiva Theater. Additional ticketed events in Joe’s Pub showcase new musicals, Latino musicians and hybrid performance artists.
