New York City
After its wildly popular fall season, which, as usual, left audiences “revved up and cheering” (The New York Times), Complexions Contemporary Ballet returns for a second time this year with a program filled with pieces displaying its characteristic charm and physicality. Co-artistic directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson will present works ranging from Complexions Classics, a medley of audience favorites, to this year’s new works, including Moon Over Jupiter set to a Rachmaninov score; the New York premiere of Testament, featuring Desmond Richardson; and Rise, performed to the music of U2. Special family matinees highlight this delightful spring season.
