Baron Rabinovitsj

A routine recital of chamber music turns into the silliest symphony ever when the world famous Baron Rabinovitsj takes to the stage. Leading an orchestra of distracted, ridiculous, yet expertly trained musicians, this mad capped Maestro does his best to keep time, and his cool, while conducting his rather eccentric ensemble. The seven-member band plays a score of original music, but their onstage banter and visual jokes become the highlight of the performance: the trombonist rarely ever shows up on time; the violinist occasionally takes musical cues too literally; and the percussionist is finding it harder and harder to translate the Baron’s mysterious native tongue.
