About the Show

Returning for a second year, award-winning, celebrated jazz vocalist Natalie Douglas takes to the stage to welcome in 2004 with her soulful brand of music. At midnight, they’ll cut live to Times Square, illuminated on a large video screen, and salute the morning with a champagne toast.

Natalie has garnered rave reviews and multiple awards and nominations for her unique mix of jazz, blues, standards and contemporary music, blended together with the assistance of her Musical Director, Avenue Q’s Mark Hartman, and saxophonist Tony LaVorgna, to create her own individual sound. Natalie has received the 1998 and 2001, and most recently the 2003 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Awards for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist and has been nominated for this award for seven straight years. She was honored with the 1996 MAC Hanson (Critic’s) Award and has also received the Backstage Bistro Award for Outstanding Female Vocalist.
