Music From China: Poetry in Music

Classical poetry connects with Chinese musical works in traditional, contemporary, and popular styles. A quintet of Chinese strings with Western flute performs music inspired by Shijing poetry from Confucian times to the great poets of the Tang and Song dynasties.
