Letters to a Young Writer: A Celebration of the Poetry Center

About the Show

Twenty years ago, Wendy Salinger founded the Unterberg Poetry Center Schools Project, an outreach program enabling New York City high school students to attend readings and interact with featured authors. Some of these authors, including Donald Antrim, Jessica Hagedorn, Nicole Krauss, Frank McCourt and John Edgar Wideman, return to reflect on the writing life. Joining them is Rebecca Pawel, a Schools Project alumna and the author of Death of a Nationalist, which won an Edgar Award for Best First Novel.
