About This Show

True stories ranging from age eight to eighteen of a racially ambiguous biracial boy tackling racism and colorism in his community, teaching himself how to live his life as a young biracial boy when some only see him as black, some say he's not black, and others say he's something else entirely. These stories are presented in hopes to teach the next generation of confused, racially ambiguous children of color that they are not alone.

Ford is excited to premiere his 2nd hour long story show after performing his first, A Fair Go, at SoHo Playhouse 3 years ago. He is a previous co-host of SmutSlam NYC, a sexual storytelling competition, and the librettist for the 2013 Thespian Festival's award-winning musical, Love at First Site. You may have also seen Carter is numerous improv shows around NYC including Academia dell-arte, Act One-Scene Two, Challenge Us, Fury: Earth's Mightiest Improvisers & Tournament of Improvisers.
