Howard Stein and Le Jazz Au Bar presents Grammy-nominated vocalist Karrin Allyson for a two-week engagement, with a program including selections from her personal collection of some of her favorite tunes from 1969-1974, including Carole King’s “It’s Too Late,” the Elton John classic “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word,” and Cat Stevens’ “Wild World.” Accompanied by her quartet – Bruce Barth (piano), Danny Embrey (guitar), Bob Bowman (bass) and Todd Strait (drums), Allyson also performs songs from her past nine Concord releases.
