Country meets Broadway as acclaimed cabaret performer Jamie deRoy teams with special guest Larry Gatlin in a special edition of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & Friends. The concert also features stage performer and radio personality Erich Bergen, One Life to Live’s Emmy Nominated Kathy Brier, Drama Desk Award Nominee Leslie Kritzer and Theatre World Award Winner Deven May. Barry Kleinbort directs and Brian Nash serves as musical director.

Jamie deRoy has won eight MAC Awards, four Back Stage Bistro Awards, nine Telly Awards and CaB Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her extensive work on both stage and screen. Her acting credits include appearances on the television shows Alice; Spiderman; and Knight Rider; and in the films GoodFellas; Raging Bull; See No Evil, Hear No Evil; and Married to It. Onstage, Jamie has appeared with Joan Rivers, as well as with Rene Auberjonois in The Threepenny Opera, and has headlined at many of New York’s major clubs.

Legendary Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Larry Gatlin began his country music career after meeting Dottie West at Jimmy Dean’s Las Vegas revue. Taken by Gatlin’s impressive song writing, West recorded two of his songs and passed his demo around Nashville, getting him a job singing backup for Kris Kristofferson. In 1973 Gatlin began his solo career, earning his first Top 20 hit, “Sweet Becky Walker,” only one year later. In 1976 his brothers, Steve and Rudy, joined Larry and went on to make renowned hits including the Grammy Award winning “Broken Lady,” “I Don’t Wanna Cry,” “Love Is Just a Game,” and “Statues Without Hearts.”
