Illuminations

Illuminations is the inaugural
Christmas Concert performance of Rorate Caeli, an Early Music vocal
ensemble of 16 men. They will be singing 2 Renaissance Mass settings, one by Thomas Crecquillon and the other by Jacobus de Kerle, along with the proper Chants for the 3rd and 4th Sundays of Advent. These Ancient Chants are based on text taken from the Scriptures. All Western music can be traced back to Chant, therefore the purpose of this concert is to provide a vehicle other than a Church service, in which to perform and listen to this glorious music.
