Huron Comedy Club

Soho Playhouse’s historic Huron Club opens Thursday evenings presenting stand-up comedy & cabaret. This new weekly show will feature established acts and up-and-coming performers with appearances on The Late Show, Comedy Central, Netflix and countless comedy festivals across the world.

In the creative and unpredictable mold of NYC’s edgy off-broadway theater scene, Alex Simmons hosts an evening of amusement and diversion. Bringing old New York charm and a healthy influence from vaudeville and the borscht belt Alex can make almost anything happen on stage and often does. 

From his first appearance on The Late Show as a precocious 7 year old to NYC’s theaters and comedy clubs, Alex has been making New Yorkers laugh all his life and brings his experience in theater and comedy together for a one-of-a-kind show.
