About This Show

In a Benefit Premier Musical production of God Doesn’t Mean You Get To Live Forever, the plot thickens around a gospel musician (Greg Royal, formerly a trombonist with the Duke Ellington orchestra), who meets a famous singer, the sultry diva (Frenchie Davis) who believes that everlasting life is a cruel hoax perpetuated by God. It takes a little girl (Zari) to change their lives forever. The Rev. James A. Forbes, Pastor Emeritus of The Riverside Church in New York City uncovers the conflict and offers insights into the opposing points of view in a theatrical style sermon. Features tenor Saint Christopher and a gospel choir.
