For the Streets! will celebrate artists and performance works that engage with audiences in public spaces and take on serious topics with imagination, humor, and forward-thinking vision. The event will present an array of performing artists, visual artists, and political organizers and campaigns hailing from the five boroughs and beyond. The lineup features artists from a range of disciplines focused on strengthening connections between performance and politics, such as Boxcutter Collective, Salomé Egas, Freedom Dabka, Rude Mechanical Orchestra, The Street Theatre Crew, and more!
