Elisa Monte Dance returns to The Joyce stage with a world premiere of Slope of Enlightenment, commissioned by The Joyce Theater and inspired by the life and artistry of a long-time company member Fabrice Lamego. Other highlights include Hardwood and revivals of Pigs and Fishes and Monte’s mesmerizing signature work Treading, originally commissioned by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
