Dictator Pinochet is still alive, under house arrest, in Chile. Disappeared, a powerful drama by renowned Spanish playwright Fermin Cabal, gives witness to life under Pinochet in Chile, where 3,000 people “disappeared.” With a cast of five women and a guitarist, the play examines the dictator’s regime in vivid accounts by the people involved: a victim, an informer, a doctor, a grave digger, and a lawyer for Pinochet.
