David Gurland

Acclaimed pop vocalist David Gurland will perform songs from his award winning self-titled debut recording. This performance will also feature new material by Madonna and Shawn Colvin. Appearing with David will be Jonathan Smith, musical director of Swing and Thoroughly Modern Millie, the CD’s original producer.

Gurland, who hails from New York City, has won a place as one of the most formidable openly gay singers in New York’s music scene. Gurland’s accolades include the 4 MAC Award nominations, the MAC/Hanson Award, a Gay and Lesbian American Music Award Nomination, and three Bistro Awards, one of which recognized his first CD, released in 1999 to rave reviews.
